Tirai ditutup perlahan as Jason and Marcus walk out from the stage into the backstage, leaving Kay yang has to freeze sampai lah tirai rapat. Fuh Lepas satu babak! Legaaa.. Rapat je tirai, prop team dah kelam kabut angkut semua prop scene 1. Cepat-cepat susun prop scene dua.
Di backstage. Elle busy fixing Kay, Jason and Marcus makeup. Next babak adalah scene Luke and Jayden. Both crown princes arching game scene. Where they show the audience their brotherly loves moment. Scene favorite Kao.
Kelihatan Jayden bersedia untuk masuk ke pentas dari kiri, dan Luke dari kanan. Wow Luke.. mana habis luka kau ilang? Elle, you are god of make-up. Naseb.. kalau tak memang pelik lah prince dah cedera-cedera. Tak de scene bertumbuk pon. Hahaha. Kena bagi award kat Elly nie.
Kay perasan Marcus yang dari tadi ke hulu ke hilir. Macam kucing nak beranak. Kenape pulak lah tu?

Marcus toleh. Muka bimbang.
Marcus berhenti bergerak, stare at her.. mata membulat gembira tengok Kay.

Everyone waiting for him to say something and out of blue tiba-tiba Marcus amek
Kaya Kahn dari tangan Luke and terus panah ke target board yang tergantung tinggi dari tengah ceiling dewan above the crowd, straight. jitu, tepat.. sekelip mata. Bulls eye. Semua tergamam kagum. Crowd yang tadi agak bising jadi senyap...
Wehh itu rigged target board crown prince laaa bijak!! Target board yang di tengah ceiling dewan tu asalnye di prepared untuk si Luke for the gimmick jap lagi. It's prepared for Prince Taejong to show off his herculean skills in arching. The arrow is already embedded onto the board. With a simple lighting play, people would not even notice that no one is actually shooting arrows. Oh gosh.. There goes our chance to make the prince shine. Ape dah kau buat nie Marcus..
General Gongmin (Marcus): That's is how you do it my princes.. -past
Kaya Khan kat Luke balek dengan muka blur.
Cast kat belakang tepuk dahi. Dia amek line si Luke. Pandai jugak Lupa line sendiri curi line orang. Selamat la kan konon! ahaha.. Marcus berdiri di belakang Jayden dan Luke yang tergamam. Luke pandang Jayden, Jayden pandang Luke. What are we going to do?
Valerie dah pink-merah berasap. Kao pulak yang pening tatau nak wat ape. Hypertension dah dua-dua. Kay speechless. He did it. He just did it. Sepatutnya itu line and action untuk Crown Prince. Suka-suka dia je cover gune line orang lain. Dah tu Luke nak gune line mane pulak? Masing-masing blur macam mana nak move on dengan scene dua ni. Tapi Luke dengan Jayden cepat cover. Adlib time! But we can only buy 5 minutes. Valerie, what should we do? We trust you Valerie. Please come out with something or else this scene will end awkwardly.
Prince Taejong (Luke): Oh hoo.. As expected from our Joseon warrior, perfect shot.. -Tepuk bahu marcus- and if I may.. Jayden nampak rilex. Go with the flow... go with the flow. Valerie duk lambai bagi signal dari tepi kat budak berdua tu. Paham dengan situasi, Luke and Jayden terpaksa adjust skit flow cerita. Jayden bagi signal through gesture kat Luke.. "You.. save this"

Luke berdiri dengan tenang. Stretching his bow, Melirik arah Mason yang dah ready nak shoot. Oh brother.. Can you shoot it from there? Ethan dekat belakang pentas dah berdebar gila. That is an impossible shot. A curved one from below. Not to mention the audience beneath. If things go wrong, we might injure the audience. Can Mason do this?

Ethan angguk. Valerie bagi arahan kat Mason yang berdiri di bawah lantai pentas, sejajar dengan tempat Luke berdiri atas pentas.. ready untuk panah, he gonna substitute shot yang akan dibuat Luke. Sebabnya.. Luke nie actually never learn arching pon. Mason yang active sport tolong.
Ready! Your brother is about to shoot. Mason yang dah memang ready untuk shoot start tarik bowstring. On Valerie's count... they shoot at the same time. Ethan follow the arrow with the light. God, time is moving so horribly slow now.. Please, land on the board.. land on the board..

The crowd's cheer roar through the roof. The girls were chanting "Prince Taejong! Prince Taejong!"
Ok, lega.... arrow yang Luke panah just jatuh ke lantai pentas je, tapi audience lebih focus pada arrow yang terbang atas mereka. The gimmick, done! Valerie tengok Mason, nak tunjuk two thumbs up for saving the play. Mason dah pengsan kat depan pentas. Oh boy, that must have put you under such pressure. Valerie eyeing two of the theater member to get Mason from his hiding place. You've done your job well Mason. Now, Kao. You take the rest from here.
Narrator (Valerie): As the competition grew heavy between the princess, the Queen's sanggung, Lady So-I enter the court with a group of court maiden.
Lady So-I (Kao): Pardon, My Lords..
Luke dan Jayden toleh tengok Kao yang tunduk hormat.
Prince Taejong (Luke): Lady So-I.. -senyum, naughty smirk at Jayden yang buat ekspressi malu.
Jayden lowered down the bow. Standing straight, hiding his face away from Kao.
Lady So-I (Kao): Her majesty, The Queen requested Prince Jeongjong's audience at her court. -angkat muka, pandang Jayden, pastu tunduk malu.
Prince Taejong (Luke): Ah.. our mother wants to see you, sweet brother. We must not let her wait that long -tolak bahu Jayden, terdorong arah Kao. Jayden pusingkan muka tempat lain. Segan
Crowd dah start cheering.. OOO.. A love line!
Prince Jeongjong (Jayden): Very well.. ehem -berdehem, cover malu-
Lady So-I (Kao): The Queen asked for General Gongmin too..
Luke jeling Jayden. Jeling Marcus. As stated in the script..

Scene dua selamat settle. Actually Marcus did his best despite being airhead. Hahaha. Pandai je Luke and Jayden cover. Tak gelabah langsung. Tererlah senior kami nie (exclude Marcus, he only good at being weird). Next babak tiga. Scene Queen hasut si General Gongmin untuk remove Crown Prince dari hak dapat takhta. Another Marcus.
Bile pikir balek... macam mana lah Marcus boleh terlepas jadi watak agak penting yang tiap scene pon dia ade kena masuk pentas. Oh god... this is not making any sense.. but he got the look for that, looking all tough and macho. Knight is perfect for him, appearance wise lah. Agaknya sebab tu lah.
Semua cast yang kat belakang nie praying hard, mintak-mintak Marcus tak buat ad-lib merepek lagi. Tak larat nak cover.
Valerie: Marcus! Boleh tak nie? Seniorr.. ok tak? Ingat tak dialogue untuk scene nie? Nie babak penting tau. Banyak emosi. Boleh kan? Kan? Kan?-Valerie tanye Marcus bertubi-tubi, pressuring him.
Kesian pulak aku tengok. Huuu.. Betul tu, scene lepas nie peak of the plot jugak. Scene yang tense... banyak pakai emotion. Boleh ke Marcus nie? Time rehearse semalam dah ok. Dia nervous ke? Arghhh..
Kay melangkah hampiri Marcus. Tarik bahu kanan Marcus suruh rendahkan sikit (since Kay kecik) and bisik something. Suddenly, he brighten up. Dari nampak moody, guilty and pressured gila dah jadi confident. Semua dah pelik.. ape pulak yang Kay bagi tahu Marcus tu? Jampi ke ape. Jason gelak tengok scene tu. He found them adorable I guess.
The next 2 scene move on just great. No intentional adlibs, no awkward pause. Just as they practiced. Even the fighting scene after the King's death went astoundingly beautiful! Thank god for Luke's and Marcus' 'talent' in beating the shit out of people. Even though tadi pelakon tambahan memang kena belasah betul-betul, Valerie was relieved that everything is over. Marcus was behaving really nicely on the stage. Which is a good thing considering how much trouble he caused earlier. Now the final scene.
Babak Akhir
Narrator (Valerie): As Prince Taejong sat on the throne with his brother's arrow piercing through his body, he cried like a child. Not due to the pain he felt but for the ugly truth he just unveiled . His mother, the only mother he had ever known, plot against him.
Luke tekan what seems to be fatal injury on his abdomen. Jayden is lying against the fake pillar, right next to Kay. He is drenched in fake blood. Catching his breath. The fighting scene was awesome! Since both memang spirited fighter. Kao yang duduk di belakang pentas duk tunggu cue dari Valerie untuk masuk scene.
Prince Taejong (Luke) : Would your ask for my life, mother, I would have given it to you. Would you ask for the throne, I would hand it to you brother. -sobbing heavily
Kay berpeluk tubuh, still remain proud as scripted. Not a flinch of guilt.
Queen Shinui (Kay): You are not fit to be king, Taejong. You treacherous son... You killed your father, my true King! -tunding jari arah Luke. Wajah murka.
Prince Jeongjong (Jayden): Why did you do this, brother? Are you really that impatient to be king? -menangis
Prince Taejong (Luke): What lie is this? I swear to the Heaven, brother. This is not my doing. Mother.. Please.. -bangun dari takhta, gerak gerak kearah Kay
Queen Shinui (Kay): You are no son of mine! Stop calling me mother...
Luke terduduk, tahan panah di perut. He endure the fake pains sampai audience pon berkerut macam dapat rase same sakit. Woo..
Narrator (Valerie): The Queen is wrapped with guilt. But her heart grew black with angst. Prince Taejong has to die so that Jeongjong could live. As king. As rightful heir. This is the only way.. as foretold by the shaman.
Luke held out his hand, bloodied.
Prince Taejong (Luke): My Queen, you are my only mother. I know no other. Is this blood not yours, mother? -desperate
Kay toleh ke luar. tangan rapat ke dada as if holding herself from becoming weak. Luke is so impressive!

Kay terhenti di tengah pentas. Acting shocked. Luke dongak dengan muka marah. Jayden juga terkejut.
Prince Taejong (Luke): I heard how you would convince Jeonjong to end my life. How you would use my father's name to smear mine. Is that why you gave me your precious box and told me not to open it but to my future wife? You filled the box with words of the shaman, with black talisman and you accused me of black magic. It was you! It was you all along!
Kay terduduk. Tunduk. Bibir terketar. Peluk tubuh sendiri.

Jayden pause a bit. Counting 8 seconds before saying his line.

Kay yell out a desperate moan, drop weak on her knees.. Tertunduk..

Dari belakang pentas, Marcus stomping enter the stage with a bloodied sword. The sword he used in the previous scene where he slain Luke's 'friends' as they tried to protect him.
General Gongmin (Marc): The queen did not kill the late King. I beg your kindness to pardon her act. -melutut depan Luke
Prince Jeongjong (Jayden): But the Queen.. She plotted against the Crown Prince. It's a crime punishable by death! General...
General Gongmin (Marc): I beg you, my King!! -menjerit arah Luke
Semua yang dipentas tiba-tiba awkward. Tak pernah tengok Marcus bersungguh-sungguh macam tu. Not even Luke and Jayden yang berkawan dengan dia dari kecik.Woow... Marcus can be that good!?
Kao lari dari belakang pentas. Turut melutut depan Luke di sebelah Marcus.
Lady So-I (Kao): My King. I beg you. The Queen is nothing but kind to you. Prince Jeongjong would never plot against you if he knew the truth and the Queen only did this as she wrongly interpreted the saying of the shaman. She fathoming it as one of must die... she only a mother who wish to protect her son -merayu dengan desperate.
Prince Taejong (Luke): and... am I not her son too?!
Luke bangun. Pegang the arrow, pulling it out sambil clenching teeth acting tahan sakit. He screams as the arrow was pulled out in one go. Huh.. Lagi sikit nak habis ni Luke. Just say your line. The queen shall be banished from the court, never to set foot in the palace again. And you, my brother, for you did not bear any ill-will against me on purpose. I shall pardon you. Leave this castle with Lady So-I. Your love would never bloom in this palace. Nor shall it bring you any meaning as prince.
Luke baru je nak ucap the finishing line. To wrap things up. Semua yang kat belakang tahan nafas. It's about to end. Say it Luke!! say it! Sikit lagiii....
General Gongmin (Marc): With your permission my King. I shall take the Queen away from the palace. Never to set foot in front of you. For I only yield to her request because of my love for her. -suddenly confessing love, this is way too deviated from the script. No.. it is not even there.

Damn you Marcus!!! Valerie dah start tarik-tarik rambut sendiri, rambut blonde dia yang always terurus rapi, not a single flyaway tu dah kusut macam pesakit mental tak sikat rambut setahun. Cuba tahan dari menjerit. Sikit lagi kot nak habis. Kay dah tergamam kat tengah pentas. Crowd is cheering. Go General! Yeah!!
Now, semua dah mengelabah kat belakang. Mason baling botol air kat tangan ke lantai. Roderick hantuk kepala ke dinding. Junior-junior yang berdiri elok semua dah terlentang atas lantai. Give up! Valerie cekik Elle yang berdiri kat sebelah dia dari tadi.
General Gongmin (Marc): With your permission my King.. I shall marry her. -take in Kay hand- I shall make sure that she would not be of any harm to you, my King.. -bersungguh-sungguh macam tu dialogue asal scripted je.
Luke pandang Jayden. Jayden pandang Luke. Kao tenung Kay in disbelieve. He did it again. Semua terdiam atas pentas. Blur... tak tahu dah macam mane nak cover. Sial lahhh kau Marcus!
"Enough!"
Dari belakang pentas, a familiar voice beaming angrily.
Jason enter the stage in his Kings costume. Automatically, all on the stage bowed to him. His King effect is really something! Tapi wait.. Jason hidup balik? What ridiculous plot is this?! Semua yang atas pentas tunggu je ape yang Jason nak cakap. Jason gerak ke atas takhta. duduk.
King Taejo (Jason): It has not been a day from my death and my princes are killing one another. What atrocity is this?
Queen Shinui (Kay): My KING!!! You are alive. What miracle is this? I saw you been taken away by the angel of death -Kay tiba-tiba buat dialogue sendiri jugak.

Ok... that't new. Semua kembali focus dengan macam mane Jason nak conclude the play.
King Taejo (Jason): My Queen, sit next to me -Jason panggil Kay yang berdiri sebelah Marcus.
Kay jalan teragak-agak ke atas takhta. Sampai je depan Jason, Kay duduk, melutut di sebelah takhta. Tunduk dengan patuh. Senior.. I don't know how to do this. I leave the ad-lib to you. Save us, please.. Jason tarik dagu Kay, mendongak pandang muka dia yang serius. Kay tahan nafas. Oh my god, this gesture again.
