Kie walked back to the dining hall only to see Kim on the floor, quivering beside the dining table, hands around her neck, gasping for air. Kie ran towards Kim and pulled her into her arms. She was shaking so badly that Kie barely could hold her still.
“Albert!!” Kie screamed on top of her lung, calling for her butler.
“Kim, what’s wrong?” she asked Kim while her eyes glassed with tears. Kim was as pale as ghost. She clasped on Kie’s arm and tried to whisper something to her ear but Kie couldn’t catch a word she was saying. At that exact moment, Albert, the loyal butler came rushing towards both of them.
“My lady...” he said.
“Call the ambulance. Call the ambulance now!!” Kie yelled. Her eyes were red and tears were gushing out.
“Kim, hold on. You are going to be okay. Stay with me!” Kie desperately slapped Kim’s sweaty face as she stopped shaking. She was barely breathing.
“Hurry Albert!!”

(At the hospital)
Beside the blue door, on the bench, Kie sat quietly with tears rolling down her cheeks and nose as red as her trench coat. She stared at the tip of her shoes, trying to figure out the situation. Just minutes ago she was sitting in front of Kim, seeing her gleeful face upon the gigantic breakfast feast. And now she was in that room, with the great blue door, still fighting for her life. It was all in a sudden.
Kie wiped her nose with the back of her hand. She heard footsteps but she was not in the mood to see who was coming. The footsteps stopped right in front of her. Kie looked up and there was Takuya, smiling at her. He pulled out a mafela from his coat and wrapped it around her neck.
“I know from the staffs that you are here. I thought that this would come in handy”. He said with the same sweet smile on his face. He sat down beside Kie.
“I’ve heard what happen. I’m sorry”.
“What do you mean by sorry? She’s not dead, okay? SHE’S NOT DEAD!!” Kie screamed.
“No...Of course not. Kie, calm down. She’s going to be okay. The doctors are doing their best”, he said while patting Kie’s back.
“I’m sorry. It’s just that...just...” kie tried to explain but her words were covered by her sobbing.
“It’s okay. Take it slow”, Takuya replied. He handed his handkerchief to Kie. Kie took it without looking at his face.
“It doesn’t make any sense. She was okay just then. She was fine. And now…urgh... even Valen has gone missing. I can’t take it anymore. This is madness!! What if something happens to them? What if they got killed?!” she shrieked in her choking voice.
“Kie... take it easy on yourself. It’s not your fault. They are going to be fine. Now...we just wait for the doctors to come out with the result, okay?” he said, stroking Kie’s back slowly.
Kie nodded. She took a big breath and smiled at Takuya. A minute later, a doctor came out. Kie jumped on her feet, almost running to see him.
“Doctor... how is she?” she asked. Her hands were trembling.
The look on the young doctor’s face was disturbing. He handed over the papers to Takuya.
“I’m sorry”
